Tunisia and Turkey, Monday, signed an agreement on tourism cooperation to jointly promote both destinations on international markets.
Under this agreement, which was signed in the Island of Djerba (Southern Tunisia), in conjunction with the 6th International Conference of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), the two countries will work together to develop tourism training and exchange expertise.
The agreement also provides for Turkey’s support of the Tunisian destination by encouraging Turkish travel agencies to promote Tunisian tourism inside and outside their country (Turkey).
The agreement was signed by Tunisian Minister of Tourism, Elyes Fakhfahk and Turkish Minister of Culture and Tourism Ertugrul Gunay.
