A significant improvement of tourism indicators was recorded in the Governorate of Tozeur in Q1 of 2012, a report of the local tourism commission said.
The number of visitors soared 112% in the governorate, in the first quarter of this year, with the arrival of 31,042 tourists, compared with 14,599, during the same period of 2011.
The number of overnight stays increased by 93%, from 27,878 last year to 53,844, in Q1 of 2012.
