Attijari Bank and its technical Moroccan partner “Wafa Assurance” have launched a new life insurance company in Tunisia “Attijari Insurance.” The latter has an ambitious development plan and aims to increase its constant activity while strengthening its equity.
The launch of the new insurance company, announced at a press conference held recently in Tunis, fits well in the context of the development strategy of the group Attijari Bank whose main axis is expanding its range of financial services to address its customers.
Indeed, Attijari Insurance offers a bouquet of life insurance products to meet the needs of customers in death benefit and savings.
Attijari Insurance, which has a capital of 10 MTD, will rely initially on the network of Attijari Bank to market its services before moving, in a second step, towards the development and diversification of its distribution network.
In addition, the insurance company will further boost the insurance sector in Tunisia and help finance the Tunisian economy, through the establishment of a long-term savings.
Attijari Bank is the first bank in Tunisia in terms of branch network with 185 branches located throughout the territory.
