Tunisia: 19.3 million e-commercial transactions recorded in 2025

E-commerce in Tunisia is experiencing rapid growth, driven by the rise of new technologies, improved digital infrastructure and changing consumer habits.

According to official data collected on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, by African Manager, the sector has become more competitive than ever since 2025, creating new opportunities for businesses and entrepreneurs.

Nearly 19.3 million e-commercial transactions were recorded, with a total value of 1,375 million dinars. In addition, 1,005 websites were using electronic payment systems in 2025.

Tunisia, in this context, has the opportunity to turn the digital sector into a powerful driver of economic growth, regional development, social inclusion, skilled job creation and economic visibility.

It is worth noting that consultations on the national e-commerce strategy began on Tuesday in Tunis.

The strategy aims to strengthen digital transformation, modernize the legal framework and improve logistics services and electronic payments.
