Tunis’ iconic Habib Bourguiba Avenue will once again go car-free on Saturday, April 5, and Sunday, April 6, marking the second edition of the “Two Car-Free Days” event.
A preparatory meeting was recently held at the Tunis Governorate headquarters, chaired by Governor Imed Boukhris, to finalize arrangements for the initiative. The first edition took place on January 4-5.
Attendees included First Delegate Khouloud Hichri, the Secretary-General in charge of Tunis Municipality affairs, as well as regional directors and delegates for culture, youth and sports, tourism, and education.
Representatives from the Traffic Police Directorate and Tunis National Security District** were also present.
