Banque Tunisienne de Solidarité (BTS Bank) has published its financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2024, showing a net profit of 9.5 million dinars, compared with 9.8 million dinars in 2023, a slight decrease of 3%.
Net banking income (NBI) for the year ended 31 December 2024 increased by 6% to 71.4 million dinars compared to 67.4 million dinars in 2023.
On the expenses side, personnel expenses amounted to 33.6 million dinars, while general operating expenses amounted to 13.6 million dinars.
The year 2024 represents the year of stabilization of the Bank’s commercial and electronic banking activities, which started in 2022, following the transformation of all regional branches into commercial agencies.
In addition, following the publication last November of the decree on the extension of the deadline for microcredit associations, the financing of microcredit associations resumed, with 187 microcredit associations financed and 19,222 loans granted for a total of 47 million dinars.
