PhosCo Ltd has provided an investor update regarding its activities in the Chaketma Phosphate Basin in Tunisia.
The company has reiterated the positive outcomes of its Scoping Study, initially announced in December 2022, which confirms the robust economic potential of its phosphate resources.
This development emphasizes PhosCo’s strategic positioning in the phosphate market and its commitment to sustainable resource management, potentially impacting stakeholders by enhancing the company’s growth prospects.
PhosCo Ltd and its subsidiaries are involved in exploring and developing resource projects in Tunisia and other parts of North Africa.
The company is searching for zinc, lead and phosphate deposits. It holds a 51% interest in the Chaketma project, consisting of six prospects covering 56 square kilometers in south-west Tunisia.
It also holds 100% of the Djebba and Zeflana permits, and the Ain El Bouma, Zaouiet Sidi Mbarek and Djebba 2 projects, all of which are located in Tunisia.
Formerly known as Celamin Holdings Limited, the company changed its name to PhosCo Ltd in January 2022. PhosCo Ltd was incorporated in 2009 and is headquartered in South Melbourne, Australia.
