Tunisia: 30 companies participate in Senefood & Senepack 2025 expo in Dakar

A delegation of 30 Tunisian companies operating in the agri-food, packaging, and biotechnology sectors took part in the 12th edition of the Senefood International Food Exhibition and the Senepack International Packaging Exhibition, held from June 19 to 21, 2025, at the Diamniadio Exhibition Center in Dakar, Senegal, according to the Export Promotion Center (CEPEX).

A key event in West Africa and a major hub for the agri-food and packaging industries, this edition brought together more than 150 exhibitors from 10 countries, including Italy, Turkey, France, Morocco, Algeria, and Senegal, and attracted nearly 8,000 professional visitors.

According to CEPEX, the exhibition showcased the richness and diversity of the Tunisian offer through a wide range of products such as olive oil, dates and date-based products, canned tuna and sardines, pasta, local specialties, diet pastries, as well as packaging solutions and innovations in aquaculture and green biotechnology (microalgae).

On the sidelines of the exhibition, a business meeting was held in Dakar, bringing together the Tunisian delegation and around fifty Senegalese economic operators, with the aim of encouraging exchanges and establishing commercial cooperation.

Tunisia’s participation in Senefood & Senepack 2025 was part of a large-scale economic and networking mission held in Dakar from June 17 to 21, 2025, initiated by CEPEX in coordination with the Tunisian Embassy in Senegal, the Trade Union Chamber of Export Advisors (CNSCE), and the Qawafel program.
