The BIAT Bank announced that it decided, on February 26, 2026, to proceed with the issuance of a subordinated bond loan, without public offering, entitled “BIAT Subordinated 2026-1”, for an amount of 200 million dinars, which may be increased to a maximum of 250 million dinars, for identified subscribers.
This loan is divided into 2,000,000 subordinated bonds, which may be increased to a maximum of 2,500,000 subordinated bonds with a nominal value of 100 dinars.
Subscriptions and payments for this subordinated loan are accepted from March 4, 2026, at BIAT branches, and will close no later than April 23, 2026.
The issuance of the subordinated bond loan “BIAT Subordinated 2026-1” will enable BIAT to strengthen its equity capital and improve its risk concentration ratios, in accordance with the prudential rules issued by the Central Bank of Tunisia, particularly the requirements of circular n°2016-03 of July 29, 2016, for banks and financial institutions.
