Tunisia: Around one hundred SMEs to benefit from free support

A call for applications targeting Tunisian SMEs in the services sector has been launched by the Confederation of Tunisian Citizen Enterprises (CONECT) and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tunis (CCIT), in partnership with the International Trade Centre (ITC).

The call, with a deadline set for April 25, 2026, aims to select around one hundred companies that will receive free, structured and high-level support to strengthen their capacity to export digital services and access new international markets.

The program is part of the regional initiative “Strengthening e-commerce and digital trade in the Southern Neighborhood,” co-financed by the European Union and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), and implemented by the ITC, with support from the German development agency GIZ for certain components.

In Tunisia, CONECT and CCIT have been selected as the main business support organizations for implementing this project over the 2025–2029 period, under the “Team Europe: Jobs through Trade and Investment in the Southern Neighborhood” initiative.

The scheme goes beyond simple awareness-raising and aims to transform Tunisian skills into competitive and exportable digital offerings.

Selected companies will benefit in particular from tailored support, including the development of digital export strategies, optimization of their online visibility, access to international B2B networks, as well as training and coaching activities adapted to their level of maturity.
