Tunisia: UNIMED announces profit of 17 million dinars and a dividend of 0.625 dinar

Meeting on Thursday, May 14, 2026, the Board of Directors of UNIMED reviewed the performance of a year marked by resilience.

The company closed the 2025 fiscal year with revenue of 148.9 million dinars, a slight increase of 1% compared to 147.7 million dinars in 2024.

This stability reflects the company’s ability to maintain its position in a pharmaceutical market facing significant structural and inflationary challenges.

In terms of profitability, the figures point to a more demanding year. Individual net income stood at 16.8 million dinars, a decrease of 9% compared to the previous fiscal year.

At the group level (consolidated accounts), the trend was more contained. Consolidated net income came in at 18.6 million dinars, a 4% decline from 19.4 million dinars in 2024.

This difference between individual and consolidated results suggests a positive performance from the group’s subsidiaries, helping to cushion the decline of the parent company.

Dividend maintained despite profit drop

Despite the decline in net profit, the Board of Directors chose to maintain a generous payout policy by proposing a dividend distribution of 0.625 dinar per share, compared to 0.570 dinar last year.

Shareholders are therefore invited to the Ordinary General Meeting (OGM) to be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2026.

The meeting will provide an opportunity for management to explain in greater detail the factors that weighed on margins in 2025 and to unveil growth prospects for the current year.
