The Ivorian economic capital, Abidjan, will on 1-4 August host the 17th general assembly and annual conference of the African Securities and Exchange Association (ASEA), sources from the Abidjan-based stock market told PANA on Tuesday.
Organizers say that the meeting has the objective, in a growing continent, to take stock of the role of the capital market in Africa.
Eight high level panels will discuss the theme, “From promises to achievements: The key role of the capital market.”
Several African and international political leaders, decision makers of the financial industry and investment capital and economic actors are expected at the conference.
