Fuel prices fell in Cape Verde Sunday, with an 8.32% reduction rate, according to the economic regulation Agency (ARE).
The most significant reduction (12.4%) has been noticed on petrol, while oil recorded the least rate of reduction of (6.48%).
Gasoline price fell from 138.80 escudos (about 1.261 euros) to 128 escudos a litre, whereas diesel now cost 108.30 escudos instead of 116.10 escudos a litre, a decrease of 7.12%.
The cost of fuel 380 went down from 71.40 escudos to 62.80 escudos, a reduction of 12.04%, while butane gas is sold as bulk 137.30 escudos per kilo, which represents an average reduction of 7.85%.
These new prices will be in force until 6 February, 2015.
