Strategy and organizational management specialist Sarra Laabidi has stated that Tunisia is still in the learning and integration phase when it comes to using artificial intelligence as an end user.
She noted that current discussions are increasingly focused on AI systems that are becoming closer to human reasoning and cognitive abilities.
She also considered that it is premature to speak about the dangers of artificial intelligence, given that humans remain its primary architects and decision-makers.
According to her, the main risks are related to the ethical use of AI across several sectors, particularly in the medical field.
Laabidi further dismissed the idea that artificial intelligence could fully replace humans in their jobs, arguing instead that many professions stand to benefit from these emerging technologies.
