Quantities of milk produced in April this year reached 107 million liters against 103 million liters during the same period last year, i.e. up 3.8%.
Forecasts for 2012 expect the production of 1,136 million liters.
Quantities of fresh milk collected totaled about 63 million liters during the month of March 2012, against 60.6 million liters during the same period last year, i.e. up 4%.
With regard to sterilized milk, stocks reached 25.5 million liters in late April 2012, against 37.8 million liters during the same period last year.
