According to data provided by the Ministry of Tourism, some 124 hotel units have joined the program to upgrade tourist units since its launch in 2005, investing about 570 million dinars in this action.
Tunisia has 874 hotel units, with an accommodation capacity of 247,000 beds, besides 292 tourist restaurants, 900 travel agencies and 10 golf courses.
