Approximately 33,000 Algerian and foreign passengers crossed the Tunisian-Algerian border, through the Algerian governorate of Tbessa to Tunisia since July 2012.
According to the regional directorate of the Algerian Customs this figure is double what was recorded on the other side of the border.
In fact, only 18,000 passengers crossed the border into Algeria.
