Tunisia: 4% growth possible if government starts working hard from now (BCT Governor)ched

Governor of the Central Bank of Tunisia, Chedly Ayari said, Wednesday, a growth rate of 4% from 3% in 2013 is possible as long as the security situation returns to stability and the government works hard from now.

Speaking on the sidelines of a press conference on the Finance Act 2014 , he said it is important to start preparing the 2014 budget, now, pending the arrival in Tunisia of many delegations, including those of the IMF and the World Bank, expected to meet with the Minister of Finance, on November 15, adding, in this regard, “to the point where things stand, it is unclear who will be the Minister of Finance. »

The governor of the central bank has emphasized the need to combine efforts to find political solutions, because the suspension of the National Dialogue will have extremely negative effects on the country’s economic situation and its credibility abroad.
