Tunisia: Around ten Tunisian companies at Libya Build in Tripoli

Around ten Tunisian companies specializing in the design of prefabricated buildings and thermal chambers, the manufacture and distribution of accessories and components for sliding curtains and gates, and the production of insulating panels are taking part in the “Libya Build” trade fair being held in Tripoli (Libya) from April 29 to May 2, 2024.

Under the auspices of the Centre for Export Promotion (CEPEX), this participation will enable Tunisian products to be showcased and partnerships to be forged with Libyan operators in order to access international markets.

Libya Build is a major international event dedicated to all sectors of the construction industry (architecture, engineering, construction, public works, environment, etc.) and to interior design and decoration, with the participation of 265 local and foreign companies from various countries, including Tunisia, Egypt, Turkey, Italy and China.

Libya is Tunisia’s leading Arab customer and the fifth globally, with exports worth 2871 million dinars in 2023.

Industrial products account for 40% of Libya’s total exports. These include cement and derivatives (228.8 million dinars), iron wire (63.8 million dinars), liquid-insulated electrical transformers (52.9 million dinars), as well as sanitary products, paints and tiles.
