Bank ABC Group has granted a loan of €50 million over 5 years to its subsidiary in Tunisia.
This credit comes to strengthen and diversify the resources of Bank ABC Tunisia to enable it to make a greater contribution to the revival of national economic activity and job protection.
The loan constitutes a foreign currency contribution for the country and will be used to provide the Bank with liquidity in Tunisian dinars enabling it to operate with solid liquidity and transformation ratios and preparing it to come to the rescue of Tunisian companies in need of financing, investment and operation.
The Tunisian economic fabric has a strong potential, this is why our Shareholders have injected resources into Bank ABC Tunisia to enable it to strengthen its presence and give the Tunisian economy a new breath of business and new opportunities,” stressed Mr. Ali KOOLI, Managing Director of Bank ABC Tunisia.
He added that Bank ABC Group is determined to strengthen its presence in Tunisia and therefore support the economy of the country which is currently going through a delicate phase like other countries in the world, impacted by staggering slowdown due to the pandemic.
