BH ASSURANCE’s total turnover increased by 4.5% to TND 130.2 million at the end of September 2023, compared with the same period last year, according to the company’s activity indicators published on the Tunis Stock Exchange website.
Non-life insurance turnover was TND 77.4 million, up 7%, while life insurance turnover increased slightly by 1% to TND 52.8 million. Ceded premiums increased by 3% to TND 32.4 million, mainly as a result of the increase in turnover.
Investment income rose by almost 24%, from TND 15.9 million at the end of September 2022 to TND 19.7 million at the end of September 2023.The cost of claims totalled TND 68.6 million, down 3%.
