A mission of Tunisian businessmen operating in the furniture sector will be visiting Cote d’Ivoire from October 15 to 19, on the initiative of “Tunisie Afrique Export”.
The mission’s goal is to bring Tunisian companies closer to their Ivorian counterparts for a win-win partnership in the furniture sector thus contributing to the development of both countries through wealth and job creation, the organizer said on Thursday in a press release.
Export and partnership opportunities in Cote d’Ivoire will be explored during this mission, the same source added.
This mission that gathers twenty of the most important furniture manufacturers is co-organized with the Company of International Fairs of Tunis, the National Federation of Wood and Furniture (FNBA-UTICA), the Wood and Furniture Industry Technical Centre (CETIBA), the Tunisian Export Promotion Centre (CEPEX) and Tunisia’s embassy in Abidjan.
The Tunisian delegation will take part in an economic panel on Tunisian-Ivorian Partnership to be attended by the Ivorian Minister of Trade and the country’s senior officials.
B2B meetings with Ivorian businessmen (October 16-17 in Abidjan) and meetings to be held
by the Ivorian Administration in Abidjan are also on the agenda.
