Tunisia: CDC, private investors to build two new movable bridges in Bizerte

Two new movable bridges will be built in Bizerte, announced the Director General of the Fund of Deposits and Consignments.

With a budget of 80 million dinars each, these two works will be funded by the CDC, a Tunisian private investor Moez Ben Zid, and Italian and Belgian investors already stakeholders in the Marina Bizerte.

The present movable bridge, whose construction dates back to the 70s, no longer responds to traffic growth because of its old age. It will be either restored, which requires significant investments, or discarded.
