Tunisia: EBRD continues co-financing projects

Managing Director for Southern and Eastern Mediterranean (SEMED) at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Hildegard Gacek, pledged, Thursday, to continue co-financing projects in Tunisia, recalling that the institution had already mobilized during the past 4 years funds estimated at 300 million Tunisian dinars (MTD).

Speaking at a meeting with Mohamed Fadhel Abdelkefi, Minister of Development, Investment and International Cooperation, Gacek added that “the volume of funds allocated spent by EBRD to Tunisia could be revised upwards”.

According to a statement from the Ministry of Development, the official also pointed out that the EBRD is willing to study the proposals of the Tunisian government and it will promote investment and partnership opportunities in Tunisia.
