According to a ranking by African Business magazine in 2014, eight Tunisian banks were among the Top 100 best banks of the continent.
The first Tunisian bank, namely BIAT, was ranked 36th place (it was 58th in 2013); followed by BNA which came 39th (52nd in 2013) and BH 56th in Africa (59th in 2013).
The “Banque de Tunisie” came 61st at the African ranking (53rd in 2013), Amen Bank was 67th (63 in 2013), UBCI ranked 72nd (100th in 2013), ATB 80th (66th in 2013) and Attijari Tunisia came 83rd (it was 77th in 2013).
