As part of the promotion of the European Union-funded “Horizon 2020” Research & Innovation Program, the European Program Management Unit (UGPE) within the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research build partnership ties with Amen Bank.
This collaboration is reflected in the co-organization of training workshops on the Legal and Financial Aspects of participation in the “Horizon 2020” Program dedicated to Research and Innovation.
This is a first in terms of collaboration between the banking sector and the public sector of scientific research; it offers significant support to researchers for a better contribution of Tunisian innovators to the “Horizon 2020” program.
Currently, and one year after the creation of the UGPE, 25 information days are organized to promote the opportunities offered by the “Horizon 2020” program within the Tunisian scientific community.
Under this program, Tunisians currently benefit from 35 research projects with funding of € 5,380,199.
