Tunisia: EU has allocated EUR 217 million in 2015

The European Union (EU) has provided Tunisia some EUR 217 million in 2015 to fund new programmes, the EU Delegation in Tunis said in a statement.

 “With about EUR 217 million for new programmes launched in 2015 and 358.5 million of payments, co-operation between Tunisia and the EU has reached unprecedented amounts,” same statement indicated.

 Tunisia is the first regional beneficiary of EU assistance as part of the European Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument (ENPI), the statement adds.
