The European Union has decided to give Tunisia an overall budget of around € 550 million for the period 2014-2015, including approximately € 250 million in donations and € 300 million in the form of macro-financial assistance to support economic and social development efforts in the country.
These commitments are in line with the financial allocations to Tunisia by the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.
