The Export Promotion Fund (FOPRODEX) invested TND 51.6 million in 2023, 93% of which was used to finance operations related to transport and direct support to exporting companies, according to the Export Promotion Centre (CEPEX).
Of all these operations, 70% went to the agro-food industry.
In 2023, CEPEX completed the implementation of digital transformation projects, including the International Trade Company (ITC) file management platform.
Launched on 18 August 2023, this platform aims to facilitate access to the center’s services for investors and companies based in the country’s interior regions.
According to the same source, by December 2023, some 203 declarations (of creation, renewal, etc.) had been made by SCIs on this digital platform.
At the same time, the “Data Cap” system for the digital processing of subsidy applications, which has been in operation since its implementation in October 2022 until the end of 2023, has processed 2,567 applications from exporting companies.
