According to (provisional) figures published on the official website of the Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT), Tunisia’s foreign currency reserves fell to 12,590 MD as of January 19, 2018 against 92 days of imports (12,420 MD) on November 24, 2017 and reserves covering 98 days of imports (12,954 MD) as of October 27 of the same year.
Still, according to the indicators of the BCT, the banknotes and currencies in circulation stood at 11,599 MD as of January 18, 2018.
As for the overall volume of refinancing on January 19, 2018, it reached 10,995 MTD.
