ICF (Les Industries Chimiques du Fluor) ended 2024 with very solid financial results, reflecting an effective recovery dynamic after a weak 2023.
With a 16% increase in sales to 169.8 million dinars and a tripling of net profit to 21.4 million dinars, ICF has confirmed its ability to recover despite the uncertainties on the international aluminium fluoride market.
Growth driven by production and cost control ICF’s sales increased by 23.3 million dinars compared to the previous year, mainly due to higher production volumes. The company fully exploited its industrial potential with a significant increase in the production of its flagship product.
This operational performance resulted in a gross margin of 34 million dinars, up 78%, despite a moderate increase in the cost of sales (+6.6%).
The operating profit reached 16.8 million dinars, compared to 1.4 million in 2023, an increase of more than 12 times. This performance is due to the increase in other operating income (3.5 million dinars), strict control of expenses, in particular administrative and other operating expenses, which remained contained, and better management of provisions, with several releases having a positive impact on the result.
Taking into account the net financial result (+8.5 million dinars), the net profit amounted to 21.4 million dinars, compared to only 7.3 million dinars in the previous year. The company will hold its Annual General Meeting on April 17, 2025.
