The Head of Mission of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for Tunisia has just received from the IMF Executive, the green light of the program review mission.
The new mission of the IMF in Tunisia, has thus obtained the green light, which is generally considered a good sign for the rest of the review and even for its outcome
The technical discussions should start in Tunisia, where they will take place from November 29 to December 13.
The new IMF mission comes this year in full discussion of the 2018 finance law, which is expected to bring some of the reforms required by Tunisia’s donors.
The talks, which are expected to end with an agreement on the release of the third tranche of the IMF Extended Fund Facility (EFF) spread over four years, will come after the recent mixed ratings by Fitch Rating.
