Tunisia: Innovation and creativity in spotlight at DEMO DAY for 1st TACIR cohorts

The TACIR program is organizing its first DEMO DAY on Friday, December 13, from 10.00 to 14.00 at the RIO Cinema Theatre.

This event, which will focus on innovation, creativity and entrepreneurial passion, will bring together the first two cohorts of the program, from Tunis and El Kef, in partnership with the CIRTA Association for Culture and Youth, according to TACIR.

After nine months of intensive incubation, 10 holders of innovative projects in the cultural and creative industries (CCI) will present their achievements. These entrepreneurs, from the “Né Well Kef” 1 and 2 and “Tunis “#1” créathons, have benefited from personalized support to help them turn their ideas into concrete opportunities.

The projects to be discovered, linked to the cultural and creative industries (CCI) covered a wide range of creations: short films, digital platforms, gamified experiences, video games, podcasts, etc.

In partnership with the MicroCred group and the Abdelwaheb Ben Ayed Foundation (FABA), the six most promising projects from the two cohorts to be presented will receive the TACIR’Innov cash prizes.

TACIR (Talents-Arts-Creativity-Inclusion-Research) is a support program for young people that aims to reduce inequalities in access to culture and creativity.

It is run by a task force of teacher-researchers and experts from the Cultural and Creative Industries (CCI) sector in TACIR Labs located in several regions.
