Amid the current health crisis, Italian companies are expecting from Tunisian institutions the application of the principle of legality, transparent administrative procedures and easier access to credit, said Italian Ambassador to Tunisia Lorenzo Fanara.

According to a press release issued by the Italian Embassy after a recent videoconference with Minister of Industry and SMEs Salah Ben Youssef, the diplomat stressed that the 800 Italian companies based in Tunisia are committed to the “rapid” and “effective” revival of the economy, while fully complying with the health measures.

During this videoconference focusing on the situation of productive activities in the first day of the gradual de-confinement, the Minister of Industry and SMEs expressed his full availability to preserve the interests of business operators.

He also reaffirmed his commitment to ensure the transparency of procedures during this new phase.
