Tunisia: Japanese-language website put online to promote tourism

A Japanese-language website was launched Wednesday to promote Tunisian tourism under an agreement of “follow-up and maintenance” signed in Tunis by the Tunisian National Tourist Office (ONTT) and the Tunisian Federation of Travel Agencies (FTAV), on the one hand, and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), on the other.

The website will be run and updated by the ONTT, in collaboration with the FTAV in a first stage, said Central Director for Training and Team Leader of Tunisia-Japan Program of Tourism Co-operation Mohamed Jerbi.

The new website unveils products that meet the demands of Japanese tourists and sheds light on Tunisia ’s historic and urban legacy and Sahara tourism.

It features 300 shots taken by Japanese tourists who visited Tunisia , FTAV President Mohamed Ali Toumi indicated.
