The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) said it has decided to suspend the construction of the water desalination plant in the Delegation Ben Guerdane, Medenine.
Radio Kalima’s correspondent in the region said the construction of the factory, a donation from the Japanese government, whose works advanced at 40%, has been suspended for security reasons despite repeated attempts by regional authorities to convince the Japanese to reconsider their decision.
