Tunisia announced its decision to join Federation of Arab Businessmen (FAB), on the sidelines of the 14th Businessmen Meeting held February 20-21 in Doha, Qatar.
During the meeting, whose theme this year was “Arab Spring, Challenges and Investment Opportunities,” the Tunisian and Qatari businessmen also announced the creation of the Tunisian-Qatari Businessmen League.
Tunisian Minister of Investment and International Cooperation Riadh Bettaieb, who led the Tunisian delegation to the meeting, said the Tunisian government will launch a program in the near future to reform the investment’s regulatory framework, to ensure greater attractiveness for the Tunisia site.
The participating businessmen expressed commitment to visit Tunisia to “explore investment opportunities, partnership and projects’ creation.”
