The “Magasin Général” Company (SMG) ended the year 2012 with a 44% sales increase compared to 2011.
Turnover in Q4 of 2012 posted a 21% increase, compared to the same period of the previous year, according to latest figures of the company.
Personnel expenses recorded a slight increase of 0.62% compared to those recorded during the fourth quarter of last year.
The number of outlets has increased from 61 units in late 2011 to 66 units at the end of 2012, following the opening of six new units and the closing of the BATAM outlet in Msaken.
Two units are still closed following the events of January 2011, namely SMG METLAOUI and SMG DJERISSA.
