National crude oil production reached 1,097 kilotons (kt) by the end of November 2025, posting an 11% decrease compared to the end of November 2024, according to the “Economic Situation (November 2025)” report recently published by the National Observatory of Energy and Mines.
This decline affected most oil fields, including Ashtart (-30%), Nawara (-39%), Barka (-80%), Adem (-17%), El Hajeb/Guebiba (-13%), Gherib (-20%), El Borma (-5%), Halk el Manzel (-10%), and Miskar (-6%).
However, some fields recorded production increases, notably Ezzaouia (+44%), Gremda/El Ain (+419%), D.S.T (+31%), Bir Ben Tartar (+2%), and Cercina (+1%).
The daily average oil production dropped from 28.9 thousand barrels per day at the end of November 2024 to 25.4 thousand barrels per day at the end of November 2025, according to the same source.
