A new cement plant has been established in the region of “Rouissat” Chbika in the governorate of Kairouan.
The new company began production last week. It is a new unit of the Tunisian-Spanish Company SOTACIB, a subsidiary of Spanish group “Cementos Molins.”
With an investment of about 450,000 MTD, the new plant has created 350 employment positions, with a 20% rate of managerial staff (engineers, chemists, managers …).
The production capacity of this project is 4,000 tons per day.
