Tunisia: Over 22 businessmen take part in multi-sector economic forum in Abuja

A Tunisian business delegation of more than 22 entrepreneurs took part in the Multisectoral Economic Forum held in Abuja, Nigeria, from September 9 to 13.

This participation is part of a first business mission to Nigeria organized by the Tunisia-Africa Business Council (TABC).

During the forum, two cooperation agreements were signed between the TABC and two Nigerian chambers of commerce.

The forum was attended by more than 100 Nigerian businessmen.

Nigeria will be the guest of honor at the 8th Financing Investment & Trade in Africa (FITA2025) conference to be held in Tunis on May 6-7 next year, said TABC President Anis Jaziri.

Speakers at the opening session highlighted the level of cooperation between the two countries and the prospects for its development.

Meetings were also held between representatives of Tunisian and Nigerian companies to seal win-win partnerships in various sectors, particularly trade and industry.

This forum was organized on the initiative of TABC and the Tunisian Embassy in Abuja, in collaboration with the Nigerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and under the auspices of the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment.
