Tunisia raises 700-million euro-denominated bond

Tunisia has raised 700-million euro-denominated bond, the equivalent of 2,275 MD, said a statement issued on Wednesday by the Ministry of Finance.

This bond will be repaid over a period of 7 years with an interest rate of 6.375%.

According to the Ministry of Finance, nearly 182 financial institutions have submitted bids in this regard and the amount offered by investors amounts to more than €2,200 million.

This bond issue is the result of a Roadshow carried out by the Minister of Finance and the Governor of the Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT) in the various international markets as part of the financing of the 2019 budget needs.
