Tunisia: revenues from date exports rise 7.1% until end of September

Revenues from Tunisian date exports saw an increase of 7.1%, until the end of September 2022, compared to the same period of 2021, to 503.7 million dinars, the National Observatory of Agriculture (ONAGRI) said in its monthly newsletter of October.

The quantities of dates exported have also risen by 12%, reaching 89.7 thousand tons. 

According to Onagri, 80.6% of the quantities exported are the variety Deglet Ennour, or 72.3 thousand tons for a value of TND 472.3 million.  It added that Morocco is the 1st importer of Tunisian dates, with a quantity of 19.7 thousand tons and a value of 125.8 million DT.
