Tunisia: Saudi Fund for Development lends $ 222 million

The Saudi Fund for Development has decided to give Tunisia a loan of $ 222 million, Minister of Investment and International Cooperation, Riadh Bettaieb told AfricanManager, adding that the related agreement will be signed on September 25.

The loan will finance the construction of a power plant in Sousse, training programs and projects in the gas sector.

To date, the Saudi fund has granted Tunisia financial assistance of around 420 million dinars which will be added to the $ 222 million.
