Tunisia seeks to produce 15,000 tons of fish reared in freshwater

Tunisia has implemented a strategy for aquaculture development aimed to reach 15,000 tons of fish reared in fresh water and sea in 2016, according to the Ministry of Agriculture.

Twenty five aquaculture projects have been set up as part of this strategy, including 10 for mussel farming in dams and hill lakes, the same source noted.
