The Société Tunisienne des Marchés de Gros (SOTUMAG) has just published its financial statements as at December 31, 2022, as they will be submitted for approval to the Ordinary General Meeting to be held on 7 June 2023.
These statements show a net profit of 6.2 million dinars, compared to 5.8 million in 2021, posting an increase of about 6.4%.
The company’s revenues will amount to 16.5 million dinars in 2022 compared to 15.4 million in 2021, up 1.1 million dinars (+7%), of which 11.3 million dinars will come from fruit and vegetable fees and 3.4 million dinars from fish fees.
As for operating expenses, they rose from 10.7 million dinars in 2021 to 11.2 million dinars at the end of last December, i.e. an increase of 5.4%, of which 7.4 million dinars related to personnel costs.
Consequently, the operating result rose by 10.6% to 5.2 million dinars, compared to 4.7 million dinars in 2021.
