Tunisia: South Korea donates 10 MTD to fight against corruption

The modernization of the electronic platform of complaints and denunciation of corruption was launched Tuesday in Tunis .

The launch of this project, which is the result of a Tunisian-South Korean partnership, came under the Memorandum of Understanding signed November 14, 2014 between the Ministry of Public Service, Governance and Fight against Corruption and anti-corruption and civil rights commission of South Korea to establish the principle of governance and promote citizen participation in this effort.

Funded by South Korea in the form of donation of 10 million dinars, the project aims to be a tool to provide an opportunity for citizens to file complaints and grievances and to report cases of corruption in the Tunisian administration, said Minister of Public Service, Governance and Fight against Corruption, Kamel Ayadi.

Some ministries, governorates and public institutions will be connected first by the platform, before gradually generalizing this experience at the national level based on the results of the study to be developed by South Korean experts, he added.
