Tunisia: TABC organizes Tunisian-Senegalese Business Forum in Dakar

The Tunisian-Senegalese business forum began on Wednesday, May 2, 2018, in Dakar (Senegal) under the theme “Towards a sustainable partnership”.

Organized by the Tunisia Africa Business Council (TABC) in collaboration with the Tunisian-Senegalese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CTSCI), the Forum aims to bring the

Tunisian and Senegalese economic circles closer to the public and private sectors and to strengthen the cooperation and exchange of expertise between industrialists and investors from both countries.

The Tunisian delegation chaired by Slim Feriani, Minister of Industry and Small and Medium Enterprises, and TABC President Bassem Loukil, is made up of 40 businessmen and business managers representing several business sectors, including the electrical industry, agribusiness, basic infrastructure and construction, insurance, health, ICT, international trade, environment, consulting and training, as well as energy.

On the agenda, meetings of the highest level with the ministers and senior managers of the Senegalese administration and local businessmen.

Well-targeted networking meetings are also on the agenda of this mission as well as company visits.

This mission of businessmen, in addition to those already carried out in other countries of the continent (Mali, Cameroon, Burkina Faso, Guinea-Conakry, Djibouti, etc.), will help further strengthen economic cooperation between Tunisia and its continent, Africa, and promote fruitful relations between Tunisian investors and their Senegalese counterparts.
