Tunisia: Telnet Holding Group increases revenues by 10% in 2017

Telnet Holding announced that it had achieved consolidated sales in 2017, up 9.6% compared to 2016, reaching 43.6 million dinars.

The R & D activity in product engineering grew by 16.1% over one year, particularly in the Electronic Banking (+ 15%) and TELECOM (+ 14%) businesses.

However, the activity of the telecom and network integration division fell 46.8% compared to 2016, which is explained by the delay recorded in the awarding of national tenders and non-renewal, by Algeria Telecom, of the contract initially honored for its account in 2015.

PLM Services revenue was up 10.9%. This growth is mainly due to the consolidation of the Mechanical R & D activity by the launch of new projects, on the one hand in process engineering, especially special machines and, on the other hand, in the calculation and numerical simulation of the mechanical strength of structures and sensitive industrial equipment.

At the end of December 2017, the Group posted EBITDA of 7.35 million dinars against 4.84 million dinars in 2016, recording strong growth of 51.6%. While the EBITDA margin stands at 16.8% compared to 12.2% at 31 December 2016.
