Ciment de Bizerte was the best performer of the session. Shares in the state-owned cement company rose 3% to TND 0.680 in off-exchange trading.
BIAT shares were the session’s best performer, gaining 2.6% to close at TND 97.000. BIAT was the second most dynamic stock of the session, animating the market with a capital of TND 582,000.
Tawasol Group Holding was the session’s worst performer. The holding’s share price fell by 4.3% to TND 0.660. The stock mobilized a limited flow of TND 39,000 during the session.
Unfavorable trend reversal for shares of Délice Holding. The shares of the national dairy champion fell slightly by 0.5% to TND 11.840 dinars. One of the most actively traded stocks on the market, Délice Holding reached a trading volume of TND 375,000 during the session.
Carthage Cement was the most sought after stock by investors during the session. The stock rose by 0.5% to TND 1.960. The stock fed the market with relatively sustainable capital of TND 1.1 million. It seems that the results for the fiscal year 2023 stimulated investors’ appetite for the stock.
It should be recalled that the state-owned cement company posted a record net profit of TND 55.2 million at the end of last year, 55% higher than in 2022.
